Swarms of students flooded out into the claustrophobic hallwaysrushing out to get in the line for lunch before all of the 'good' food would be taken. Meanwhile, the girl sat at her desk, watching and waiting for the traffic to die down. She and been invited to have lunch with other 'friends' but denied the kind offer with "sorry, I have work to do". Or rather she did not want to be cramped and trampled by the animals that flood in the hallways. A male's voice screamed "YES! I got the last hot meat bun!!"

Blood and Cherries
Lips covered in cherry rouge, eyes dipped in dark chocolate, hair of fiery crimson flames burning under the synthetic light as it flickered. A light summer breeze lifted her hair, igniting the flames even more so. She turned to the person staring at her, slowlyas if time were coming to pause. The wind ceasing from lighting her blazing hair ever more, then falling down carefully, as to not burn her silky, fabric white clothing. Her eyes lay glued onto the figure as it stood nervously frozen. Suddenly, realizing whom it had been, her eyes melted away the dark to reveal a gentle caramel hue. Her cherry lips folded into a small smile tha
She walked along the warm grains of crushed coral and rock, squishing the goo between her toessticky and black poison running along marine waters. Feathers stained and drowned in the black pool. She reaches out for a feather, light toughing the sticky contents, it slowly begins to sink. Her hand sucked in along with it, she pulls with all her strength; muscles tense, her mind filled with fear and anxiety. Struggling effortlessly, her arms felt heady and lead weighted. The darkness thickening around her, she becomes swallowedslowly sinking into the abyss.
She reaches her pale and amidst the black oblivion, with false hope and pipe
For you my Dearest,
There can not be a million starts in this abyssal sky to express my distanced-unrequited love for you. This love, condescending from the heavens, as He forbids me from taking your hand in mine. Walking toward the altar, on crimson colored carpet. The fabric silk flowing and caressing your porcelain skin. Oh! how I marveled of your beauty, agape with awe of your mesmerizing trickeries. The same trickeries you bestowed upon me a fortnight ago. How I longed for you to not step a moment closer towards the altar so that I may gaze at you from afar fro but a few more seconds. And as you stepped upon the altar, I stood dumbfoun
Wide spreads of prawn and noodles set among the small booths and mini sit-down restaurantssymbols of prosperity and good fortune for the New Year. She stood on the bridge above the pond, watching the koi glide gracefully through the water; disappearing then reappearing beyond the lilies. The fireflies dancing atop the pond's surface, serving as lanterns and feed for the swift koi. She stared into the water's reflection, her pale skin covered lightly in soft white powder, silk kimono forming the hourglass shape of her fragile body. Lips lined in red rouge, cheeks gentle pink. Looking into the eyes of her mirrored twin, her eyes glazed ov

'December Auroras'
As we chase that spark of light
Streaming across the aurora nights
The air crisp with every foggy breath
The small crystals of reflecting radiance
Slowly dance downward
Melting away at the slightest touch of warmth
While the icy wind pierces our skin
Stealing our warmth along with it
Every now and then,
Maple leaves take part in the night's dance
Trickling down hand in hand
With flakes of transient water
We close our eyes
And fall backwards into white powder
In slim and false hope
That our December night never ends.

'Star Crossed Path'
You know that deep in the dark
You surrender your broken heart,
Never on the brightest of days
But rather in the gloomiest of ways.

Seeing with glazed eyes
Glistening like stars ahead,
That lay down the path
Towards our twilight city.
~
Walking down this starry road
Glowing with every step we take
Even as this path begins to corrode
~
Looking back on our footsteps
With every wrong turn, left or right,
We can always trail back onto our path,
~
Since those night lights of sulfide and gas
Illuminate our chosen road,
Even through the blackest of nights.

Even if a dirty puddle,
That ripples the stars with every step I ta
